Properties:The copolymer, supplied in powder form, is slowly soluble in water resulting in amber-colored solutions with high viscosity and adhesivity. It is used as a bioadhesive in denture adhesives, and as mucoadhesive for drug delivery to mucous membranes.

Applications |
MP955 polymer, a mixed sodium/calcium salt copolymer, can be used directly in the formulation of a denture adhesive. In denture adhesives the salts provide excellent wet adhesive strength and duration of hold.
